Halloween Tablescape

Halloween Tablescape

YES!! Halloween!!  I love this holiday!  I think it is because it is just plain fun.  Ideas galore, yummy treats and especially its a chance to dress up and be something your really not!  We can easily incorporate a bit of goolish fun in amongst our fave fall decor!  I used paper for the backdrop (love the versatility of paper) I even stuffed the glass jar with paper.  A velvet pumpkin from a darling shop on Orcas Island called the “BIRD NEST”.  You have to have a few extra eyeballs hangin around so these here I made from Michaels styrafoam balls and a package of plastic eyes. Feathers add a touch of whimsy and a few candles and a spooky scape is created.

Hangin Out for a Scare

These spooky ghosts  are hanging from ribbon and are white gift bags turned upside down with the handles cut off and acrylic painted faces.  I have them in my dining room window, looking out to scare the next trick-or treater.  GOOlish delights!  Spooktacular idea!!!  Have fun! Be safe! Happy Halloween! Don’t eat all the kids candy!
